SMART locate is a feature that allows parents to view a live map of the bus as their child is
being transported.

Here’s what you can expect to see in the Parent Portal when looking up your child’s
transportation routes.

Home-to-School
View the location of your child’s assigned bus as soon as it begins its route. This helps you
know when the bus is nearing the bus stop.

Once your child tags on and is loaded, you can continue to view the bus’s location until your
child tags off and is unloaded at the school.

If your child happens to tag onto a different bus, the Parent Portal will still display a live map of
their location until they tag off and get unloaded at the school.

School-to-Home

View the location of your child’s assigned bus as soon as your child tags on. You can continue
to view the live map until your child tags off and is unloaded at their home stop.
Note: If your child does not board the bus going home, the live map will not be available.

* Regardless of the route direction, you’re able to view the map and see where your child has
been unloaded.
