Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Public Works Contractor Registration Information:

Both formal and informal solicitation may be processed through the Business Services Department. All responses are due no later than the time shown on each solicitation; late responses cannot be accepted. It is the bidder's/proposer's responsibility to ensure that the most complete and current version of the solicitation, including addenda, has been downloaded and acknowledged.

Please note: Contractors/Suppliers are solely responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate information. Contractors/Suppliers may edit their profile at any time.
Contractors can prequalify with the District for the informally bid CUPCCAA projects (less than $200,000) by completing the CUPCCA PreQualification Application. The District must receive applications at least ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled bid opening on any advertised project in order for the candidate to qualify for that project. Pre-qualification approval will remain valid for one (1) calendar year from the date of notice of qualification except as noted in the pre-qualification documents.

The District is seeking proposals from solar energy companies (each a “Proposer”) that have demonstrated qualifications, resources, expertise, and experience sufficient to undertake and complete the Project on a timely and cost-efficient basis.  A solar energy company selected by the District will be fully responsible for: (i) securing any and all necessary permits and utility agreements; and (ii) planning, designing, scheduling, constructing, installing, and commissioning the systems; and (iii) financing through a 20 or 25 year Power Purchase Agreement.
